More Kids On Bikes is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Foster Love. Based in Brea, California, Foster Love is committed to transforming the lives of foster youth in America. Together, we will bring more bikes, and helmets, to children in our local foster care system.On December 1st from 5:30 p.m. To 8:30 p.m. MKOB will host a Bike-Build Night at the Phoenixville Receation Center !
We are forming 12 Bike Builder Teams, led by a Team Captain. Teams consisting of two to three people, will be assigned a bike (12”, 16”, 20”, 24” or 26”). Teams will unpack, assemble, and decorate the bike. Teams are encouraged to help spread the word to help raise money and awareness for this great opportunity!
MKOB will bring the ten new bikes and 10 helmets to the the local foster agency (Agency TBA when paired by Foster Love)
Our Level One Goal is to raise $2,000.00 to cover the costs of the first 10 bikes and helmets.
Our Level Two Goal is to raise
MKOB will sponsor the location, pizza, drinks, music and fun!
There will be a donation bin at the event:
***Items to consider: Bike gloves, bike lights, bells, bike bags, spare tubes, small hydration packs etc.
These items will be delivered with the bikes to the foster care headquarters assigned to us by Foster Love.
