We're thrilled to welcome Dan Ross, President & CEO of Arts United to the Fishbowl!

What's a Fishbowl?

A few times a year, MKM architecture + design hosts a Fishbowl. It's an afternoon event where we invite interesting people from the community to reflect on their careers, share their work, and discuss big ideas. Topics can range from artificial intelligence to social justice and many things in between. The Fishbowl offers an intimate venue for discussing, sharing, and learning about innovations in community health and well-being.

Dan Ross has been with Arts United since 2009, currently serving as President & CEO. Passionate about the value that arts and culture bring to communities, he is actively engaged in partnerships to connect and align the creative sector with broader community initiatives.

Dan's entire career reflects his dedication to the arts. Before joining Arts United, Dan spent decades with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, as a talented trumpet player from 1983 to 2023, and in leadership roles serving as interim executive director, general manager, director of artistic operations, and orchestra personnel manager.

A father and grandfather, Dan, and his wife Anna (retired executive director of Audiences Unlimited), live in Fort Wayne, where he currently serves on the Fort Wayne Public Art Commission and the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership's Regional Opportunities Council, championing the arts as a catalyst for regional growth.
