Did you know that November 2013 marked a turning point in my life, reshaping how I perceive the world? After my anoxic brain injury, I had to relearn everything I once considered normal. This journey led me to an art therapy program, which has been a challenging but transformative experience over the years.
Though I may never return to the person I was, I have come to cherish the individual I am today: a fighter, a warrior, a survivor. Through vibrant colors in my paintings, I express what I see and taste, awakening parts of my mind that were dormant for 47 years.
I warmly invite you to join Matt and me on Sunday, April 2nd, from 3 to 5 PM for an exciting release of my original artwork. You’ll also find prints available and our “Broken Hallelujah: 40 Days in the Wilderness” series to explore.
