About this Event
Mixtape Ministries Volume ll, Part 3: Born Sinner: Restoration, Healing, and Wholeness (Part 3 of a 3-Part Series).
Using J. Cole’s second album title as a metaphor for how we “all” deal with some form of brokenness through no intentional fault of our own, this talk by our pastor, Dr. Daymond Glenn, will explore how we can use the Prophetic Gospel of Christ as a foundation for becoming restored, healed, and made whole.
Mixtape Ministries is a Talk-Series that intentionally uses Hip-Hop and the lens of the Black experience in inner-city urban America as a metaphor to connect the church and its ministry to issues and topics that can help all People live lives of Meaning, Being, and Purpose.
The Cultural Soul Project is a new Church in Portland, Oregon where our ministry exists at the intersections of race, faith, hip-hop, and justice, and we are curating a Beloved Community for all People shaped by life on the margins.
