About this Event
Mixtape Ministries Volume ll, Part 1: Reasonable Doubt: Righteous Skepticism and Cynicism (Part 1 of a 3-Part Series).
Using Jay Z’s first album title as a metaphor for legitimating why People should question the relevance and impact of today’s church, this talk by our pastor, Dr. Daymond Glenn, will explore why questions and critiques of the church should be anchored in “righteousness” if we desire to build a Beloved Community of Faith for all People.
Mixtape Ministries is a Talk-Series that intentionally uses Hip-Hop and the lens of the Black experience in inner-city urban America as a metaphor to connect the church and its ministry to issues and topics that can help all People live lives of Meaning, Being, and Purpose.
The Cultural Soul Project is a new Church in Portland, Oregon where our ministry exists at the intersections of race, faith, hip-hop, and justice, and we are curating a Beloved Community for all People shaped by life on the margins.
