GILANK
Musicians Alice Gilmour and shi Blank met at a Bradford Sound Artists meeting in 2024 and soon decided to work together through a shared love of electronic ambient drone music, using their classical music backgrounds to add layers of harmony and delicacy. They combine synths, midi controllers, contact mics, effects and loop pedals, with acoustic instruments including violin, bamboo flute, percussion and voice.
Releasing regularly on their Bandcamp page, the duo have had a busy 2025 so far, including providing music for Theatre in the Mill’s A Teaspoon of Shampoo from writer / director Dr. Shabina Aslam in March, taking part in Bradford 2025’s The Progress in May along with santoor player Eeshar Singh, and gigs at The Triangle in Shipley, the The Ryshworth Club and The Noise Upstairs in Todmorden.
They also had a radio edit of their piece ‘There’s a Strange Noise Coming Through the Speakers’ played on Gus Bousfield’s Bradford Special FreakZone playlist on BBC Radio 6.

VOID HANDS vs GODOT.112358
Through the use of confusing computer software, godot.112358 (Alex Cook) and Void Hands (Richard Knight) seek to perform an auditory reanimation of Karlheinz Stockhausen in order to exorcise all of the bad things he did and take credit for his better ideas.

GRUPA OTWOCK
A live audiovisual duo of Darek Błaszczak (modular synthesis, drone, and ambient textures) and VJ Pietrushka aka Maciek Piątek (live visuals, camera, video processing). Together they create immersive, improvised sets where sound and image evolve in real time.
Both are also members of Shepherds of Cats & VJ Pietrushka, a Polish experimental collective whose recent album Live at Bemma Bar was released on the Antenna Non Grata Polish label. They recently appeared at Poland’s leading festival of contemporary art and improvised music, MÓZG Festival
