About this Event
During the session, Fi will talk about how to compose elements on the page, alongside encouraging play with colour, different materials and mediums.
The outcome is to create expressive, fun illustrated food that will be reflective of the ingredients used to create a lovely seasonal home cooked meal participants can share together created by Lauren Kendrick of Flourish Peterborough .
Fi is an all-round creative based in Peterborough who loves experimenting with various crafts and materials to breathe. They're a skill-collector, proficient in painting, printing, digital art, 3D sculpting, and textile crafts. Fi has over 8 years of experience in design and arts which now informs hands-on creativity, with an emphasis on inclusivity and stress-free learning environments. Their mission is to inspire creativity and make art accessible to all.
Lauren Kendrick is a food activist in Peterborough. She has worked in the public, private and third sector, on food projects in the UK and Europe. Lauren has a lifelong passion for food, the access to food for everyone, and importance of connection to nature and the outdoors.
