About this Event
You will have access to a wide range of different materials to use and experiment with as you create your own mixed media creative concertina sketchbook.
A beautiful casebound sketchbook will be provided for the course and there will be a wide range of resources, images and ideas for you to use as a theme or starting point for your book.
This workshop is suitable for all abilities as Liz will work with each of you to develop your theme, ideas and approach to your concertina sketchbook.

Artist bio:
Liz is a fine artist, specialising in painting, drawing and mixed media works. She has extensive teaching experience and alongside her own artistic practice, teaches regularly across North Yorkshire and from her art teaching studio near Ripon.
Liz is inspired by natural forms and landscape in her own work with an emphasis on colour, structure and light. She uses sketchbooks extensively to develop ideas for her work and is particularly drawn to the flow that is created using concertina books.

Sunny Bank Mills is an inspirational cultural destination in the heart of the local community of Farsley, Leeds. Founded in 1829, these glorious Mills are being regenerated by the sixth generation of the family owners, creating a wonderful blend of work, leisure and culture.

Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. As materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date. Please note that Eventbrite’s booking fee is non-refundable.
If we need to cancel the course for any reason your ticket will be fully refunded.
