Mixed Media Art Session workshop with Green Tree Arts Studio & Arts in NatureWednesday 16th October from 2pm – 4pm
Eden Court Theatre & Cinema (Community Table Space on the 2nd floor)
Join us for a relaxing creative session using natural and mixed media materials through conversation and art making together, we will explore this year’s festival theme of in/visible drawing inspiration from our spectacular natural world.
This session will invite you to be creative and playful in your art making, we will have a choice of decorative boxes or accordion books to use as your creative canvas. We will have a selection of collage, pastels, natural objects and fabrics for you to explore. We will be drawing on all aspects of our natural world as we encourage you to embrace this year’s festival’s theme in whatever way feels important to you. We can also share ideas with you, no previous experience/skills of using art materials are needed to participate. We hope this session will allow you to reflect on how tapping into your creativity can benefit your wellbeing in a relaxing and enjoyable way.
This free event is being run by Green Tree Arts Studio and the ‘Arts in Nature’ Project as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival Highland.
