About this Event
Prepare to change your perception of what theatre can be as four artists use physical theatre, dance and mime, to tell very different stories.
From performances about veganism right through to pieces that centre around homelessness, MIXED BILL will feature artists from a range of performance disciplines, telling emotive stories through dynamic movement forms.
Don't miss the first evening of performance in our Pop Up Programme, curated by Artistic Directors Nathan Geering and Ryan Harston, offering a flavour of whats to come in Theatre Deli's future programming.

Irreversible is an exhilarating piece that transcends the human emotions such as indifference and ignorance towards losing your hopes and desires to live.
Cruel Creatures presented by Chris "Jago" Brayford
“If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian.” – Paul McCartney
Inspired by Artaud’s Theatre of Cruelty, Cruel Creatures is a hip hop contemporary dance theatre performance that implores you to think about how you would feel if you were trapped within those glass walls? Walls that were built by an industry that forgoes ethics and the environment for profits, simply to provide for a world that is fooled into believing it is the only way to live.
This piece tells the story of the beings within that industry. One being is there every day to make a living, having to disassociate from their surroundings and subdue their senses in order to do their job.
Tormented by the actions they have to take to meet the demands of the industry. The other being was born into it. Their brief life is watched closely until the exact moment it must come to an end and their body becomes repurposed into consumable parts.
Come and sink your teeth into Cruel Creatures and immerse yourself in the dual torment of their stories…
CHRISTOPHER presented by Sam Morris
A man at work, a child at heart.
Christopher is stuck in a endless loop of suppressing his past whilst damaging his future.
It’s not until he looks within that he realises the answer has always been there - to become the very thing he lost.
This energetic piece of physical theatre sits outside the realm of reality, but the story couldn’t be any closer to the truth.
The Green Mime presented by Michael Lynch
The Green Mime emerges from his slumber. It is his birthday. It is a good day. So far at least.
An eccentric mime show fused with reactive soundscapes and slick physical flare.
