Tekstilaboratorio on Tekstin talon kansainvälinen ryhmäresidenssiprojekti kirjailijoille ja muille tekstin parissa työskenteleville taiteilijoille. Projektin ideana on kokeilla ja etsiä tapoja tuoda tekstikulttuuria yleisön koettavaksi. Toisessa Tekstilaboratoriossa on mukana kolme runoilijaa, Silja Kejonen (suomi), Ofem Ubi (Nigeria) ja Asiya Wadud (Yhdysvallat). Runokuun keskustelussa runoilijat kertovat Tekstilaboratoriosta, sen aikana tehdyistä havainnoista ja keskiviikkona 20.8. järjestettävästä päivästä, jossa koko Tekstilaboratorion taiteilijajoukko esittää teoksiaan tai teosten vaiheita. Haastattelijana kirjailija Jenna Viro, joka kuuluu hankkeen ohjausryhmään.

The House of Text (Tekstin talo) established a working residency program for writers and other artists working with text named Text Laboratory. The aim of the project is to test and find new ways to bring works of text culture to audiences, potentially broadening the definition of what text culture can mean. Three poets are part of the 2nd Text Laboratory: Silja Kejonen (Finland), Ofem Ubi (Nigeria) and Asiya Wadud (United States). At the Poetry Moon Festival the poets share their Lab experiences and thoughts on text cultures possibilities. The whole Text Laboratory group presents their outcomes on Wednesday August 20th at The House of Text. Author Jenna Viro interviews, Viro is part of the Text Laboratory steering group.
