Mitski’s new album NOTHING’S ABOUT TO HAPPEN TO ME finds her immersing herself in a rich narrative centered on a reclusive woman living in an unkempt house. Outside of her home, she is a deviant. Inside of her home, she is free.
The album officially arrives February 27, but record stores around the world are opening the door to that home — Tansy House — early on February 21 for special TANSY HOUSE LISTENING EVENTS.
You’re invited to join us for an advance listen to the album in full, surrounded by community, creativity, and shared reflection. Bring your favorite pens, stickers, journals, sketchbooks, and crafting supplies, settle in, and spend some creative time with your thoughts and impressions of the music.
After the listen, we’ll bring it all together into a community art project that may just be featured on @mitskiverse 👀✨
