Education on Trial: Understanding Causes, Consequences, and Solutions to Racial Segregation in Minnesota's Schools
The Mitchell Hamline Law Review is pleased to announce that it will hold its annual symposium on January 28, 2025, focusing on the issue of racially segregated education in Minnesota. Twin Cities schools are some of the worst in the nation for racial segregation and racial disparities. But lawyers, lawmakers, activists, experts, schools, and community members who confront these challenges daily often understand the problems—and their solutions—very differently. This symposium brings together speakers from each of these spheres to share their perspectives on how to address racial disparities among Minnesota's schools.
