Mitch Herrick & The Homegrown Sinners is a musical project that Mitch Herrick started after leaving his previous band, SOSOS, in 2013. Mitch had been playing music on the side until then, but after a cruise tour called Rombello with SOSOS, he decided to quit his day job and pursue music full time at the age of 36, three years into his sobriety. Despite the terrifying leap, Mitch committed to giving it a year and worked tirelessly to book gigs and learn about the music industry. By the end of the year, he found himself still financially stable and able to continue pursuing music.Since the start of Mitch Herrick & The Homegrown Sinners in early 2017, the band has performed alongside notable acts like Hoobastank, Stephen Marley, Shaw Davis and The Black Ties, The Stranger Billy Joel Tribute, and Oogie Wawa. Mitch continues to feel fortunate for the opportunity to do what he loves for a living, despite waking up every day waiting for it to end.
