For kids aged 8-13. Have you ever been curious about Mobile Apps or wanted to learn how to make mobile apps for your Android phone or tablet? Attend this workshop presented by the Master trainer closely linked with the MIT App Inventor project.
MIT App Inventor is a popular educational tool for learning how to code, with more than 10 million users, worldwide. It is a blocks-based programming language with a development environment that runs in a browser, to design and build mobile apps.
During this workshop, participants will be exposed to application concepts starting from UI/UX design to actual implementation of the application, all using the free visual programming platform MIT App Inventor to create their own functioning mobile applications to use on their mobile devices.
Please bring your own laptop. If you do not have a suitable laptop, you will be provided one for use during the workshop. You will need to supply your own Android mobile device. No previous experience in coding required.
