The Missouri Meerschaum Company (MMC) and the Gateway Regional Investigations of the Paranormal (GRIP) invite you to join them for a paranormal investigation of the MMC’s 143 year old Corn Cob Pipe Factory.
Some say that a building or location will absorb the energy from events that have taken place there over time, both good and bad. Given all of the historical and personal emotional events that have taken place in the factory over the past decades, it’s easy to understand why the factory staff says “It’s as haunted as it is historic!”
You will be led by knowledgeable members from the MMC staff and GRIP team as you conduct the investigation of the factory’s three darkened floors, spread over 52,000 sq. ft. to try and validate past events or possibly discover new ones. GRIP will offer guests the opportunity to use basic paranormal investigation equipment that will include infrared cameras, EMF detectors, dowsing rods and temperature monitors to help document experiences.
