2024 Missouri Chess Class Championships. Sections: Master/Expert (2000+), Class A (1800-1999), Class B (1600-1799), Class C (1400-1599), Class D (1200-1399), Under 1200, and *Novice Section.
*Novice Section: Under 1000/Unrated The novice section is held with a shorter time control and completes in one day.
Each section plays only opponents in their own section Players are allowed to “play up” one section only above their official rating. Out of state players are welcome.
Rounds: G/90 d;15. Round Times: Saturday - 10, 2:15, 6:30, Sunday 10 – 2:15
Entry Fee: $40 pre-registered by 6pm 11/8. $50 on site. Email [email protected]. Online Payment to www.paypal.me/mochess. Please include Name/USCF ID/Section in the paypal notes. Cash & Credit Cards accepted onsite. Free Entry to GM/IM. Max 1 half bye; MCA membership required, (O.S.A), available on site for $5.
Prizes: Missouri Champion Plaque to the winner of every section.
Based on 7 per class
Master/Expert Section: $250-1st, $200-2nd,
Class A, B, C, D, Under 1200: $200-1st, $100-2nd in each section.
