For this potluck I'll bring Hawaiian sub rolls, ham & Turkey, chips and soda. If you want the share something we could use desert or some other side items.Update: Since a lot of people are on vacation or have a busy summer, MIC (Mississippi Intenders Circle) is going to meet every other Wednesday instead of weekly until further notice.
Merry meet everyone and welcome to the Intenders Circle. We host these events at the Universalist Unitarian Church in Jackson every Wednesday from 6pm-8pm. So what is an Intenders Circle you may ask? Well, it's kind of like a heart circle with a few key differences. This is how it works. The circle will start with me to help break the ice. I will go through things that I am greatful for in my life such as family, friends, health, etc. The things that I need or want I will speak as though I have already it, which brings it into the present instead of always putting it in a future that never arrives. Once I have finished the person to my right will go next but if they do not wish to speak they can place their hand over their heart so they can be skipped and the next person may go.
I scheduled this event for 2 hours because it all depends on who shows up, how many people share and how much each person shares. It's usually customary to bring snacks, cakes, candy, etc to share afterwards while everyone fellowships but no one is required to bring anything, however, it's greatly appreciated. This event is free but gifts and donations are appreciated.
