Mississauga Etobicoke Creek Winter Hike & Eat

Brian Joe has opened up a hike he is leading for another group to invite his new Friends of Etobicoke Creek. This winter walk covers the Mississauga section of dirt trails north of Burnhamthorpe. I’ll be helping out and surveying the state of the creek alongside him.
Bring appropriate clothing and footwear (hiking boots, gloves, crampons, etc.) We will go Snow, Rain or Shine.
Approximately 9-12km of intermediate hiking skill. There are a few ups and downs.
Meet at Fleetwood Park @ 9:50 AM, We will depart at 10:00 AM and take the paved Etobicoke Creek Trail to the dirt trails into the woods. Although it's in the city, it's quite beautiful. Bring your camera.
After the hike, we can stop by a local eatery to reward our exercise!
