Missions Fest Seattle presents our 2024 free conference with the theme, “People Must Know” Here’s a bit of background. Many of you are familiar with the very popular streaming video series called ““, directed by Dallas Jenkins. Prior to The Chosen, Dallas was asked by his church in Illinois to produce a Christmas video for their church. He came up with an excellent 21-minute video called ““. The words to this year’s theme are found at the 17-minute mark of the video and they are spoken by a particular shepherd and Joseph during the nativity scene and based on Luke 2:17-20. We encourage you to watch it!

The shepherds shared what they had seen and heard with those they came in contact with because they felt that “people must know”. That’s called evangelism and you will find the theme of evangelism woven throughout this year’s conference. We will refer to local evangelism and that which takes place in faraway places such as the 10/40 Window. If you’re unfamiliar with that term, it refers to an area on the globe from 10 to 40 degrees north of the Equator and running from North Africa across the Middle East to Japan. In that large rectangle live the great majority of people who have yet to be reached with the gospel, who have yet to even have an opportunity to hear the gospel.

How will you help share the gospel with the people who must still know? Come join us on October 18-19 at Highlands Community Church in Renton, WA. Similar to other years, we will have featured speakers, a good variety of seminars and exhibitors, a Friday pastors’ workshop called "Evangelism Summit" led by Saturate the Sound, and a Friday Field Trip for private school students and homeschoolers, grades 4 – 12.
