The Gulf Coast State College Anthropology Club and the Bay Anthropological Society proudly presents “Mission to the Ocean Floor: The Recovery of Missing Men from World War II" The presentation will be led by retired Navy Diving Officer, CWO4 Randy Duncan and Master Chief/Master Diver, Rodney Atherton and will feature their work in leading a team from the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) to recover missing World War II servicemen lost from a crash on September 1, 1944 during a mission over Koror, Palau in the western Pacific Ocean.
