Going to the mission field long term for the first time is often times filled with all sorts of stressors. You lack the language, misunderstand the culture and feel lonely. But it helps significantly when there is a supportive team and mission agency to back you up. Come and hear first hand from Winnie and Bronwyn who have just returned from spending two years each in South East Asia. They each will talk about their own experiences and share tips on how to survive the toughest years of being in the mission field.Date: Saturday 22nd June, 2024
Dinner: 6pm
Sharing time: 7pm-9pm
Venue: Willetton
Cost: $10 for dinner (no charge if coming after dinner)
Zoom is an optional way to join us (only if you are not based in Perth or unwell). Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you in person.
Be encouraged by meeting like-minded people who are exploring the possibility of serving long term in Asia.
Please RSVP by 15th June, including any dietary requirements (which is important to enable us to cater food appropriately). If you miss our RSVP deadline, you are still most welcomed to join us for our sharing and discussion time which will start at 7pm, or BYO dinner and join us at 6pm.
