Mission Australia NDIS Partner services are working in collaboration with community-based organisations to help create opportunity for people with disability, their families and carers to have access to NDIS support in their local community.Please see schedule below of where and when staff will be in your community.
Local Area Coordinators (LAC’s) support people with disability aged 9 to 64, to create and work towards their goals, build capacity to make their own decisions, and help to access the supports they need to live the life they choose.
LAC’s can help,
• NDIS participants and all people with a disability to connect with services available in the community.
• Provide information about the NDIS and help to apply for access.
• Support for NDIS participants with questions about their NDIS plan.
