Have you ever wondered if you would enjoy English Paper Piecing? This class is a great introduction to the "how to" of this hands on stitching style. Learn un-traditional methods of EPP like starch basting, machine piecing and more in this all day workshop. Choose a cute pincushion or mug rug to learn the basics and be prepared to begin a larger EPP project.This workshop is a full day of many tips and tricks to sew and baste using Missie’s English Paper Piecing basting method. You will begin with Starch Basting and see a demonstration other basting techniques. Choose from one of four patterns for your project:

We MUST know in advance of class what pattern you choose so we have it ready. If you don't include your project choice when registering please email [email protected] with your choice.
Bring your own stash of fabrics to make your project unique. Three or four fat eighths should give you enough to create a lovely project. Consider the pattern of the fabric when you choose. Stripes and symmetrical designs create the most interesting contrast. All other supplies will be provided or included with the pattern.
For this all day class lunch is on your own. Bring a sack lunch or Banter's Meats & Deli next door offers great box lunches.
