The Miss Samoa Golden Gate pageant was founded in 1999 in San Francisco, CA as a scholarship pageant to empower young Samoan women to embrace their voice as a vehicle to truly make an impact and create positive change in our Pasefika community.
This scholarship pageant is a women’s empowerment program under Pacific Islander Community Partnership, intended to strengthen the community of Samoan women in the local San Francisco Bay Area to mold stewards of our culture and ambassadors of our home countries, American Samoa & Samoa.
