Gem City Pinup Photogtaphy and Greta Grenadine are adding an extra special twist to the 2025 Powerama Customs Auto Show Pinup Contest! ✨"Miss (or Mister) Powerama Customs 2025" will be a "team" pinup contest!! That's right... you will enter as a two person team!! So grab your bestie or your sweetheart and come up with a coordinating look!! No talent, or performance required, we just wanted to give the fellas an opportunity to participate, if they want to, and we want to try something a little different! The event falls on Valentine's Day weekend, so why not??? We are still looking for your best 40s/50s/rockabilly look!! We will have tiaras and sashes for our winners, plus more prizes to be announced!
✨*Registration*
Contestants (ages 18 or over) may pre-register by emailing [email protected] . Pre-registration is NOT required and you may register at the event, HOWEVER if you pre-register you will get the contestant questions ahead of time. Please title the email "Miss Powerama Registration" and send your name along with your stage name/ pinup name (if you have one), and a pinup style photo (must be family friendly) for us to share on this event page. Please have BOTH teammates email, just to help keep things organized. **** If you do not have a teammate but you would still like to participate, please still send an email and we will try to find a teammate for you!!! We want everyone to be able to join in on the fun, that is why we are trying this.
✨It is FREE to enter the pageant. (there is a small fee to enter the car show that is paid at the door) Please DO NOT send anyone money for registration fees, there are a lot of scammers out there that will target this event!
✨*Time* Showtime will be 6 PM on Saturday February 15th but please stay tuned for contestant check in times
✨*Judging* Please remember that this is not a "beauty" contest and you will NOT be judged on your size, shape, age, etc. The judges will be judging on overall look (outfit/hair/makeup), creativity/effort, and stage presence.
✨*Rules* sorry to be a negative nancy but these are VERY important!!
This is a classy, FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT. NO lingerie, NO swimsuits, NO sheer clothing, NO overly revealing clothing, No lewd or overly sexy posing for the judges or for photos. Do NOT show your stocking tops or garter straps - this counts as lingerie.
If you are visibly drunk or intoxicated, you will not be able to compete.
NO political statements, PLEASE!
please be respectful of the cars and the show, so do NOT touch any of the cars without permission from the car owner. And finally, We have ZERO tolerance for bullying, body-shaming, harassing, or discouraging other contestants. Any contestant that does this will be banned from this event, and any future pageants/fashion shows/photoshoots/other events that I host or co-host. Just act right, ok?
