Step back in time for an afternoon of vintage glamour and toe-tapping tunes as Miss Holiday and The Swingtones take centre stage at The Oval Bandstand for our Summer Sunday Concerts!
This sensational band brings the golden age of swing and jazz to life with their sophisticated sound and stylish performances. With the enchanting Miss Holiday leading the way, backed by The Swingtones’ impeccable rhythm and brass, expect a set filled with timeless classics and infectious energy that will transport you straight to a 1940s dance hall.

Our popular summer season of concerts is back, and this year we are bringing even more performances across a wider variety of genres to The Oval Bandstand & Lawns.
The Oval's Summer Sundays concerts take place throughout the summer season (subject to weather conditions).
Bandstand concerts are back for a glorious summer of entertainment!
-Doors, toilets and concessions open: 1pm - 5pm .
-Concert: 2pm – 4pm.
-A minimum £2 donation per adult on door (under 16's no donation required).
-All persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
-A fully licensed bar and food is available (alcohol and food is not to be brought into venue, bag searches are in operation).
-Fully accessible toilet facilities are available.
-All seating areas have step-free access.
-There is no car parking at the venue, please use public transport, bicycles, or arrive on foot. There is very limited local car parking and charges may apply.
-Well behaved dogs are welcome, but they MUST be kept on a lead at all times whilst in the bandstand auditorium.
