Workshop Location:

Japan Village, 2nd Floor "The LOFT"

This workshop is taught by Misako, who grew up in Japan, Canada, England, and the U.S., inspired by watching her mother and grandmother prepare Japanese home-style dishes using seasonal, local ingredients. After graduating from Sophia University in Tokyo and working as a high school teacher, she moved to the U.S., where she has taught Japanese home-style cooking for the past 18 years. She has developed menus for Japanese restaurants, lectured on Japanese culture and cuisine, and written recipes for magazines. Misako’s mission is to share an easy, healthy, and delicious approach to Japanese home-style cooking.
