In the last 15 years, WAA has grown by leaps and bounds, with over 4,225 participating locations nationwide, more than 6,000 sponsorship groups and in 2023 placed over 3 million wreaths in total—all in the mission to Remember the fallen; Honor those who serve (and their families); and Teach the next generation the value of freedom. Locally we have have gathered the surrounding Veteran organizations, businesses, and businesses together to support this mission as a community. It has become a tradition for familes and neighbors all over Michiana to participate in our Wreaths Across America Day Ceremony and wreath laying.

🚨Event details for SATURDAY December 14th, 2024🚨
This will be Team RWB Southbend 7th year of hosting and Coordinating Mishawaka Fairview Cemetery Wreaths Across America Day. We will spend the next 11 months raising sponsorships for the Wreaths we place. Wreaths can be sponsored under the following qualifying groups:

Wreaths Ceremony will take place at 12pm Sharp. If your planning on watching the ceremony and volunteering to lay wreaths afterwards. We ask you start start showing up at 1130 to 1145am. This will allow people to get in safely, get parked so we have zero traffic flow at start of ceremony. Traffic flow will not be prohibited after 1145am. 🚚EXTRA Volunteer opportunities:
We are in need of Volunteers with Trucks to help spread wreaths throughout the Cemetery at 9am the day of the ceremony. This makes for easier access for volunteers coming to lay wreaths after the Ceremony so they are not just in one central location. PLEASE email [email protected] if you would be available and would like to help with this. Definitely not a position we need tons of volunteers.
Ceremony will start in the North East section of the cemetery right off Main St.. Parking runs out in the cemetery pretty quickly. Park along side fence. When that parking runs out. Please use the school parking lot just North of the fence along side the cemetery. If you have any questions for me. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
