About this Event
Get ready to unlock the numerous capabilities of Microsoft Copilot at MIS Breakthrough Hackathon! This competition, hosted by Microsoft in collaboration with MISA, leverages Microsoft Copilot to generate real-world problem statements for participants to solve. Compete against peers, learn how to utilize Copilot to its fullest potential, and showcase your solutions in this exciting, full-day event!
Location: 7th Floor of Microsoft Vancouver Office - 725 Granville Street, Vancouver, BC V7Y 1G5
Hackathon Format: No coding experience is required for this event. You will be working with a team of 4 and using Microsoft Copilot to create problem statements, which you will create a solution to. There will be 2 pods to choose from:
Pod A: Tech & Healthcare
Pod B: Cybersecurity
One winner will be announced from each Pod. Do your best to be the winner of your respective Pod!
Registration Instructions: Please ensure you fill out the Google Form and indicate if you are registering as an individual or with an existing group. Individuals will be randomly assigned a team, and groups of less than 4 will be merged with other individuals/groups.
Mandatory Orientation Meeting: Stay tuned for details about the mandatory MIS Breakthrough Hackathon orientation meeting with Microsoft, where you get the opportunity to learn about the format of the event in greater detail.
Full-Day Event: Lunch will be provided for all attendees, with vegetarian and vegan options available.
