About this Event
Using Balkan folkloric music as a framework, Miroslav Tadić (guitar) and Yvette Holzwarth (violin) bring their rich histories of listening and playing music – providing windows into Baroque, Flamenco, Arabic, Brazilian, Blues and Americana.
Program includes arrangements, compositions, and improvisations largely based on Balkan folklore. Macedonia, Brazil, Dalmatia, Romania, California, and Andalusia are a few stations on this colorful journey.
"...a breakthrough guitarist who is extremely individualistic, devoted to adding new words, phrases and dialects to the language of guitar."
