Join us to kick off the holiday season with family and friends at our Annual Miracle on Main Event in Old Town Algonquin on Saturday, December 7th. Fun holiday activities will fill Old Town Main St. The Annual Tree Lighting will be located at The Plaza (2 S. Main Street) in Algonquin. Holiday music will begin at 4:00pm, along with a variety of Holiday performances, followed by the entrance of Santa and Mrs. Claus! Activities will include visiting with Santa's Reindeer, Live Music with Jimmy Marquis, Dickens Carolers (located at the Merry Market) and Radius, Pictures in Giant Snow Globe, Live Ice Sculpting, Trackless Train Rides sponsored by Heather Rasek Homes, Free Hot Cocoa from Riverbottom, activities with local sponsors and businesses and of course visiting and pictures with the Jolly man himself! Come early for the Merry Market on Main, which will be located between Washington St. and Madison St., with live music starting at 3:30pm and 25 unique, local Artisan Vendors sponsored by the Downtown Algonquin Association. The Market will open at 3pm and will run until 7pm. This is the perfect opportunity to pick up some special, one of a kind holiday gifts!
