MIRABELLE SKIPWORTH

⭐ Mirabelle Skipworth is an alt-folk singer-songwriter from Pittsburgh PA who grew up in the Chicagland area. She spends a lot of her time touring regionally and sharing her songs. Her folk-inspired melodies and lyrics combined with a tinge of alt-rock influence makes for a dynamic, emotionally-intense experience. She occasionally draws on her own experiences, books, concepts, and other people's stories. Her latest EP, The Morning's Malaise released in March 2023. Her single, The Deer Song, released January 5th 2023 and her newest single (Scary Story) released Oct. 25th in advance of her upcoming EP.

BEN PATRICK

⭐ Ben Patrick is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter originally from Aurora, IL. He began his musical journey in high school, participating in the Acapella and Madrigal choirs at West Aurora HS, where he also discovered his passion for songwriting. Ben went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Music and Songwriting from Belmont University in 2022. Drawing inspiration from indie rock bands like Pinegrove and Young The Giant, as well as alt-folk groups such as The Lumineers and The Paper Kites, Ben's music explores themes of honesty, vulnerability, and the challenges of navigating adulthood. His reflective lyrics and heartfelt melodies resonate with listeners, offering a raw and authentic perspective on personal growth. In addition to his work as an artist, Ben has spent the last three years teaching a commercial music program at Nashville Big Picture High School, where he shares his passion for music with the next generation. In June 2023, he released his debut album, The Voices In Your Head, marking a significant milestone in his musical career. Ben is incredibly excited to be showcasing his work at The Venue, bringing his music back to the community where his journey began.
