Come join us for a FREE community STEAM workshop at Atlantic Wharf!

Get ready for a fast-paced workshop where students of all ages team up with local Minni teaching artists for a fun, hands-on workshop.

This event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration required. Please register entire family for headcount. Spaces are limited.

May 10

Little architects and caregivers will learn all about cities while exploring a variety of multi sensory 2D and 3D art processes. Join our Minni instructor as we design and construct our own city blocks, explore city patterns and textures, and create at a construction themed sensory station. This creative morning of family-friendly fun is not to be missed!

June 14

Cool crafting kiddos and their caregivers will learn all about the big blue sky and its many shades and hues. An instructor will guide the group through a variety of activities as they explore and mix cool colors to create artworks inspired by clouds, rain, and the sea! This workshop is perfect for any late spring morning, rain or shine.

July 12

Participants will celebrate summer in with the brightest of warm colors. A Minni instructor will guide students through a variety of projects focused on play and warm shades, including sticky collages and giant collaborative sun paintings. Soak in the summer sun with your creative little one!

August 9

Students and caregivers will whip up creative sweet treats with a variety of family-safe art materials for a summery sundae Saturday. A Minni instructor will guide students as they explore creamy textures, pastels and plenty of playful activities including an ice cream sundae sculpture making station! Expect a sweet morning of colorful creations and crafty cones.

Info: In Minni Leaf Peepers, students and caregivers will discover a full spectrum of fall
colors! Inspired by the illustrations in Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert, students will explore a
range of autumnal materials as they create leafy garlands and textural collages,
complete with lots of sensory fun.

Info: This event is perfect for every level of fiber arts experience! Create colorful patterns and
quilt motifs by sticking soft felt shapes or learn simple stitching techniques to create
your own textile artwork. Perfect for snuggling up with your favorite stuffy and a cup of
hot cocoa!

Info: In Minni Winter Wonderland, students and caregivers will craft and create all the
elements of a wintery landscape inspired by first snowfalls and Ezra Jack Keat’s
renowned book "The Snowy Day." A Minni instructor will guide students through a
selection of icy activities, as students explore sparkling colors and winter patterns and
textures. Bundle up and come prepared for our most magical workshop yet!
