Step into the stillness of the historic railway station, where echoes of journeys past create the perfect atmosphere for new words to emerge. This one-morning writers’ retreat offers you a rare pocket of time to focus on your craft in a welcoming and inspiring space.
From 9 am to 1 pm, you’ll experience a gentle rhythm of guided facilitation, quiet blocks of writing time and optional prompts to spark your imagination. Morning tea is provided, along with your own copy of the Poetic Purpose Planner for Writers to take home. You’ll also receive a special discount on 1:1 writing coaching, should you wish to carry your momentum further.
For those who’d like to linger, the retreat flows into a casual BYO lunch and networking time until 2 pm - a chance to connect with fellow writers and share the energy of the morning.
Whether you’re polishing a project, starting something new, or simply craving uninterrupted time to write, this retreat invites you to pause, create and leave with fresh words on the page.
Note: Please know that this event is not designed for sharing writing - just creating it. There is no requirement to read your work out loud; there are other writers’ groups where feedback is part of the process. All my workshops, writers’ cafes and retreats are based on privacy and reflection.
