About this Event
Climate Ambassadors are delighted to host this fantastic mini-pond workshop in association with Gobnait Ní Néill and Collie Ennis of The Grassroots Guild.
Join us in adding to a network of freshwater habitat, in gardens and greenspaces across Ireland. Gobnait and Collie will provide the theory, training and tools needed to build your own mini pond, and help kickstart the regeneration of wildlife in your community.
If you are a Climate Ambassador and would like a Climate Ambassador t-shirt, we can give you one at this event. The t-shirts are ethically sourced and organic. Let us know what size you are, S, M or L.
Meeting on Saturday 10th June at 10:30am, beside Blackhorse Luas Stop along the Grand Canal Way.
Gobnait Ní Néill as a Climate Ambassador, was awarded 'Outstanding Achievement' in 2022 and is founder of The Grassroots Guild.
Collie Ennis is host of The Critter Shed, Science Officer of The Herpetological Society of Ireland and Research Associate at Trinity College Dublin.
Gobnait and Collie will demonstrate some of the ways you can introduce water into your garden.
You will come away with all the skills needed and your very own mini pond kit, ready to install in your own garden. Let's help create a new wildlife pond network, extending out from our gardens, to support all the beautiful creatures making their home in our localities.
