Heidi will break down each step she takes to create a mosaic quilt including working from a photograph, how to draw shapes, recognizing values in photos and translating them to the correct colors, and how to choose just the right fabrics. She'll share traditional and innovative design and cutting techniques plus she'll show you how to do her NEWEST technique of putting the mosaic design together without the need for a light box, stencils or fabric marking tools. To finish the project, you will layer the quilt, do some simple free-motion quilting, apply a pretty accent binding and add just a touch of fairy dust glitter.Kit Fee: $45 payable to Heidi at class
