From 10-11:30amMini Monets is a weekly drop in art program where toddlers and preschoolers will explore color and paint in ways that they love! Young children will be introduced to art concepts and then have the freedom to create their own unique art to take home or work on a collaborative project.
This program focuses on the process of creating art that gives children the freedom to enjoy exploring their creativity. Process Art allows children the freedom to explore art without the expectation of a certain outcome. Because children learn best though play and open-ended activities, process art allows children to be themselves, take "risks", make their own decisions, build self-confidence, and have fun creating.
Mini Monets is included with general daily admission to the Greater Wausau Children’s Museum and free for GWCM Annual Pass Holders.
