About this Event
In this pop art printmaking workshop, kids explore color, pattern, and repetition through a playful apple printing project inspired by Pop Art. Using real apples as their printing tools, students experiment with bold color choices and learn how repeated shapes can create strong visual impact. The focus is on process, experimentation, and building confidence rather than perfection.
All materials are provided, and the workshop is fully guided from start to finish in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Students will learn basic printmaking concepts, simple design planning, and how artists use everyday objects in creative ways. Each child will create a finished pop art print to take home.
In addition to their artwork, students receive a take-home lesson guide so they can continue exploring printmaking, color combinations, and pop art ideas at home. This workshop is ideal for upper elementary and middle school students, with adaptations available for younger or older artists.
