We are looking forward to this year’s mini beach day and celebrating Jiggy’s belated birthday with all of our friends (Please note, this is not an event for regular size horses to attend, only mini horses) so bring yours and come hang out with Jigglypuff and Lord Tubbington. It’s been TWO YEARS since we last saw our mini friends. Due COVID we will still be encouraging everyone to practice whatever safety measures you all feel is necessary. While we all may share different opinions on COVID-19, some of us are vaccinated and others are not. Some of us may choose to wear a mask each day, others might not. We want to make this day fun and drama free. Please be respectful of each other, while we cannot REQUIRE masks, they are still going to be ENCOURAGED. Although we are quite late, we will still be celebrating Jiggy’s 21st Birthday, there will be a mini celebration - can’t wait to see everyone there! (Jiggy loves carrots if your wondering what kind of presents he likes)If you have any questions feel free to leave them in the comments!
PLEASE NOTE: By attending this day you understand and agree that we are not and will not be held liable or responsible in any way for any parties that choose to be at fiesta island on this same date. This day was originally created several years ago for our small group to meet up with friends who each had miniature horses. We love when others drive down as well, however ALL outside attendee(s) must be responsible for their own mini(s) and humans who are with them. All attendees must understand that you will be near horses, while we absolutely love our horses and know them to be exactly who they are, regardless of size horses can be and often are unpredictable in nature. Horses can bite, kick, rear, strike, spook etc which can result in harm and even death ... if you are not used to being around horses, please practice safety while around them or animals of any kind, whether it is here or anywhere else, especially when you do not know them. We want everyone to have a good time when being around horses but we also want to make sure everyone is safe and uses common sense so that no mishaps occur.
Rules:
- Bring a manure bucket!
- All manure MUST be picked up before you leave, no matter where the manure “happens” it needs to be picked up. We have been fortunate enough to bring horses to fiesta island for years, and the only way we will be able to return is if manure, trash and other items that should not be left behind are cleaned up before departure.
- No alcoholic beverages, I think everyone is able to have a fun time without an adult drink in hand (I think).
- All minis must remain attached to a lead rope
- This is not the ideal location to find out if your dog likes horses. This is a public beach, so I cannot ban any dog from being on the island. However I highly suggest anyone bringing a dog be 100% sure the dog is not only used to horses but respects their space and is non-aggressive.
Most of these are not my rules, they are fiesta island rules. I want to mention them that way we are able to assure the rangers that we will leave the island the way it was when we arrived (OR BETTER)!
