About this Event
Our first event like this sold out in record time for our winter lecture series. So, we wanted to bring it back for more people to experience! We will have local artist/sculptor, Kelly Aaron here demonstrating how to work with a take home friendly clay. At this workshop she will have examples ready and you will get to create your own headstone to take home with you that day! Kelly will also have some of her crafts available for purchase at the event. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Ticket pricing includes clay, access to all supplies needed to sculpt, and instruction from Kelly. Heather Faries the vice president of Union Cemetery Historical Society will also give a brief presentation on headstone iconography at the beginning of the event.
