Join us for Mini Artist Mondays! Our first 5 week session will start on Monday, September 8th. Art lessons will be from 9-9:30am and then open play from 9:30-11am.
➡️$100 PER ARTIST FOR THE 5 WEEK SESSION
Week 1: All Kinds of Lines
We will read the book “Harold and the Purple Crayon” before learning about and drawing different kinds of lines. We will also use Wikki Sticks to practice lines, which artists will be able to take home.
🎨Week 2: Shapes
We will start by reading the book “Round Is a Tortilla” then glue together pre-cut shapes to create different items.
🖌️Week 3: Primary Colors
The book of the day will be “The Strawberry Book of Colors”. Artists will make caterpillars out of red, yellow and blue circles then add a face and legs to their creations.
🖍️Week 4: Secondary Colors
After reading the book “Mix It Up”, artists will learn how secondary colors are created when we mix primary colors together and then will be able to practice themselves by mixing Play-Doh.
