MINERVA'S 2nd FRIDAY - SEPTEMBER 12, 5-9 p.m.Enjoy live music, family fun, food, beverages, and shopping in Minerva’s historic downtown during Nights on N. Market 2nd Friday celebrations! August’s event features Gordon Oliver, Wheely Good Food Truck, Pretty in Fizz, Kava Culture, 330 Popcorn Co., vendors, community groups, games, and more! Local vendors and crafters will fill High St. and the municipal parking lot along with games, face painting, and a bounce house sponsored by Naturescapes.
The Market Street Art Spot celebrates the beautiful art of our beloved Joan Henninger, one of our founding Resident Artists! Join the Market Street Art Spot from 5-9 for her artist reception. They will have yummy goodies and live music by Dick Rutledge!
Shops open downtown will include Vintage Home by IlluminArt and the Market Mercantile, until 8 p.m.; Sassy Rose Boutique, until 7 p.m.; Witchy Ways, until 7 p.m.; Chic Haven Boutique, until 9 p.m.; and the Minerva Area Historical Society’s Haas Museum will be open 6-8 p.m.
Walker’s Café, Minerva Perk, The Clever Cookie & Creamery, and The Komfort Zone will be open late.
The village’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area will be in effect 4-10 p.m., and DORA beverages may be purchased at Sandy Springs Brewing Company, Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant, Stoney Inn, and the Normandy Inn and carried throughout the downtown area.
