Come down to Mineral Town! The opening event of an intentionally non-curated exhibition of illustrated works by young artist and designer Charlotte Meagher. Mineral Town is a story-driven exhibition that explores the power imbalance between Country and the mining industry from a childlike perspective.
This illustration series places a focus on FIFO families, absent fathers, imposed masculinity on young people, and the impact of these on society.
Featuring works by young WA-based artist Charlotte Meagher, this disruptive, community-based artwork challenges traditional curatorial practices. Don’t miss this thought-provoking exhibition.
