Dig into the world of Minecraft & Geology. Compare in-game specimens to real rocks & minerals, learn their properties & win mineral prizes!
About this Event

Join Dr. Chris Yakymchuk and his team who will uncover some geo-fantastical truths (or not!) about Minecraft rocks and minerals. The team will then compare them to real-life geology specimens. But pay attention! At the end of the showcase Chris will invite the audience to test their recent knowledge by participating in a Kahoot! The winner will rain victorious with a new LEGO mineral set and the next three runners-up will walk away with minerals, yes, real minerals, in their pockets. All audience members will be invited to touch and see the specimens at the end of the showcase.
