Awareness is a gift we were all born with, but it needs to be culitvated
This introductory course offers participants knowledge about Mindfulness—what it is and how it is practiced. The instructor will offer a brief presentation on how to get in touch with our awareness and guide participants through a series of breathing exercises, meditation with sound healing, supportive touch exercises, and yoga. Participants will walk away feeling connected, refreshed, and rejuvenated. An opportunity to chat and mingle for tea will be available afterwards.
What to wear/ bring:
- Yoga mat (we have a few available at the studio... first come, first serve)
- Comfy clothes
- Something for hydration
Parking: Available at the many municipal lots in chinatown, ex: Kekaulike Courtyard or free street parking on N. King street after 6pm
Event starts at 6:30pm, doors open at 6:15pm. Everyone is welcome

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Mudra Love is from Kathmandu, Nepal. She first gained knowledge about mindfulness and meditation practice from her father who was a Buddhist monk. Overtime she has strenghtened her practice and understanding through educational training programs such as "Mindfulness Meditation" taught by Jon Kabat- Zinn, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), and more. She is currently practicing Vipassana meditation at Broken Ridge Temple and attending pujas and silent meditation sessions at Kagyu Thegchen Ling.
