Are you interested in creating a greater sense of calm and stillness in your life? Developing the skillof being able to pay attention to the present moment can improve mental health and wellbeing,
enabling us to enjoy life more and understand ourselves better. This one-day workshop will
explore mindful practices through nature so that you can take steps to develop mindfulness in
your day-to-day life. The day will be predominantly outdoors in the glorious grounds of Burrows
Lea, weather permitting, so wear suitable clothing and
footwear.
We will cover:
- Purpose and benefits of mindfulness
- Overcoming barriers to mindfulness
- A variety of outdoor experiential exercises to develop mindfulness practices
- Developing a personal approach to mindfulness to be able to bring it into the everyday
