About this Event
Mindfulness Through Nature: A Queens' Retreat at Kings Eye
Often, the best thing we can do for ourselves is to slow down. The 'hustle and bustle' and demands of life can make that a challenge, particularly in today's world. Though we often pass it by, nature and the outdoors can offer the space Black women need to power down, reflect, and just breathe.
Join us for a rejuvenating retreat in the heart of nature with Deeply Rooted Outdoor Education, held at The Environment at Kings Eye. Our guests will engage in community with skilled practitioners to learn mindfulness skills, breathing techniques, and ways to support our mental health by connecting with the world outside our doors.
This event kicks off a rejuvenating series. Your ticket price reflects a discounted introductory rate that includes the following:
- Guided walks through a private landscape, closed to all other visitors
- Quiet time for peaceful reflection along a scenic stream
- Fresh charcuterie offerings, hot tea and cocoa, and light desserts
- A gift of mindfulness tools to continue your practice at home
- An intimate experience led by a Brianna Amingwa, a fellow Black woman and experienced environmental educator trained in culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices
- On-hand support from a Certified Clinical Social Worker & Therapist
Don't miss out on this unique experience to nurture your mind, body, and soul.
