Mindfulness Photography Workshop with Meditation for Women.

Mindful photography is the art of capturing narrative in a single shot, halting and freezing time and, importantly, revealing how we see things. After all, simple shifts in our perception – how we view the world, our emotions, and our thoughts – can profoundly affect our entire day (Williams & Penman, 2016).

In this first of a series of seasonal workshops for 2026 we will be considering the theme of Gratitude and how we consider this word in our everyday lives.

The morning will commence with a meditation working with this theme led by Sal, we will then venture out for a short walk from the Hall to Llantysilio Church, led by Deb and photographing as we wander.

Returning back to the Victorian kitchen at Llantysilio Hall for homemade vegetarian light lunch. And finishing with a shared discussion what has been brought to our mind about our morning's activity.

Info: If you are interested in photography and meditation this workshop is for you!! Or if you are new to either meditation or photography or both this is a great way to begin your knowledge & journey!! We will start the workshop gathering together for a meditation with the theme of Gratitude. After our time of reflection we will enjoy a short walk from the Hall to Llantysilio Church, to photograph in & around the Churchyard which in February is full of snowdrops. After enjoying our time in nature, we will return to the Hall for lunch. we will come together after lunch to share our thoughts & feelings, what we have noticed, what has focused our minds during this workshop and how we will positively & confidently move forward into 2026
