Bring yourself, and perhaps a friend, a yoga mat, cushion and blanket, but you can leave your mind at home :)
This mini-retreat afternoon, part of a series of six themed events, is set in an enchanted nature reserve (with indoor space), tucked away conveniently located in a South London suburb.
Sunday 5 February's theme is: New Year, New You, exploring your intentions for the new year.
Each mini-retreat always includes at least half an hour guided meditation and typically a combination of at least five of the following:
- Grounding exercises
- Breathing and very gentle stretching exercises (not yoga), suitable for all abilities.
- Unlimited herbal tea to enjoy during the retreat.
- Personal reflection, journaling time.
- Incense (Sage)
- A themed reflective group topic with an invitation to share or equally you're welcome to just listen.
- Musical based meditation
- Humming meditation
- Reconnecting with nature exercise
- A deeply relaxing guided meditation.
- An opportunity to be in silence or connect with likeminded other people.
HOW YOU MAY FEEL:
All mini-retreats are gentle boosts for your wellbeing. The main intension of these events is for you to enjoy some me-time and positively step away from the daily hustle and bustle.
Afterwards you may feel:

- relaxed
- mentally lighter
- in harmony
GOOD TO KNOW:
You are welcome from 1 pm to settle in, enjoy a selection of (herbal) tea and take a stroll through this lovely space, breath in nature and gently unwind.
At 1:30pm we will start with introductions.
Tickets can only be booked online (or via [email protected] for the reduced fee). We regret that there are no ticket sales on the door.
We welcome everyone and offer a limited number free or subsidised (£5) spaces for Lewisham resident's who are experiencing financial or emotional hardship. To enquire, please contact our friendly team via: [email protected]
The session is suitable if you have reduced mobility, though the paths in the nature reserve may be a challenge to navigate when you use a walking aid.
Please note that this is not a mental health support event, but a Mindfulness and relaxation afternoon.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Please wear something comfortable.
- Please bring your own mat/thick socks/a warm sweater/cushion/blanket as unfortunately we don't have spares available.
- Chairs are available if preferred.

Guided meditation bliss during a warm autumn afternoon in the nature reserve. In winter you will be indoors with direct access and views of the lovely secluded space.
